I've dealt with NYB, killing it off with either McAfee Antivirus OR the
Norton Antivirus. Both programs killed it with to automatic settings.
Just last week a friend and client had it memory resident in a P100
system. Didn't have a McAfee floppy, just the version on the Nuts &
Bolts CD-ROM. Installed McAfee -- against program druthers -- anyway to
the hard disk. NYB then infected the HD boot sector; McAfee killed NYB
there. Virus no longer on the system. As a back-up, I then checked hard
disk using Norton anti-virus; no NYB. System clear.
best regards,
Jim Griffin
