I have just assembled a second computer to use as a backup for e-mail. This
one is a Pentium Pro 200 CPU and has Office 2000 installed with Outlook
2000. My attempts to copy the outlook.pst from the main computer to it has
so far been unsuccessful. The file was placed in the correct folder and when
starting Outlook I get a message stating "I do not have access rights to
this file" and Outlook does not load. Replacing the original set-up
outlook.pst gets the program started. Both systems are running Windows 98,
although the backup one does not have WindowsSE installed. What can I do to
make my main copy of outlook.pst work on the second computer?
Regards,
Alan Priol.
