The file is marked "read only"; this is entirely normal on a CD(!).
IF the file were copied to the hard drive, an administrator (you) could
change it to read-write and so allow it to be changed. The software on the
laptop is assuming that's the case, without realizing that the drive is a CD
and so you can't change that copy of the file to read-write.
