This gets a little tricky since you did not say if the Boot drive,
(or the one where your active installation of Windows is),
is also moving around or being switched.
It makes a BIG difference if you have two ~Windows~ directories
on different drives, or if you are dual, or multi-booting.

I'll assume (for my answers) you are single booting,
"C" has not moved and Windows is on "C",
and you added a hard drive "under" this one that took
over the letter "D", or some lower letter, and your programs
are now looking for a "path" that is no longer correct.

In cases like the above, I tend to back-up the data of the programs
involved, (in case something goes wrong), and (in the active
installation of Windows) re-install them to the SAME directories
they are in now. This will correct all the "path" info and drive letter
problems. It may or may not wipe out your data, and some settings
may be lost...

Some programs are really nasty about being "moved" in this way
and it could be a problem getting your data back into them.
