Nan, I tried e-mailing myself a document from within Word as you did. At
first I thought I had failed to receive it. Later, I found it SP*M-tagged in
my SP*M folder. In looking at the e-mail properties, it showed an enormous
amount of unreadable characters at the end of the document text. I am
guessing that stuff might be the 'formating codes' for the document and my
filter thought it was SP*M. Have you checked your SP*M folder? Just a
thought.
