Thanks to Ben and the Doc.
Iomega tools runs fine; just happens that 1-step can't be found at all.
Since Ben runs 1-step-backup and Microsoft backup, I've got a software
conflict somewhere else. 1-step shortcuts aren't in the tools shortcut
folder or disabled startups.

I was hoping for one of those obvious "overlooked answers" on my part.
I'll have to spend a night hunting the conflict. I'll post progress
when/if/when I find it.
