DOS has the time stored as long word (32 bits) of number of seconds
passed since 00:00, 1.1.1970. This is not affected by 2000 bug. Other
programs might convert this to MM-DD-YY and then it'll be a problem,
but with word-processing and surfing, it shouldn't have a lot of
effect.
If a motherboard is not compliant, a y2k compatibility card could
solve the problem.
