You need an A to A USB cable rather than the usual A to B. They come in all sorts of lengths, but check Logitech's site to see if there are any length restrictions. The cable you need is not special or device specific. My local Price Club/Costco has a regular 6' A to B and a 6' A to A for $5.99 for both. I have used them as extensions on two of my USB devices, including a scanner. Don't get sucked into spending a fortune on some alleged "premium" cable for this purpose.

Thanks, Mark. Probably best to take the QuickCam to a supply outlet to ensure I get a proper cable.
