I appreciate the info very much.  But the keyboard problem only started after the spill on the keyboard.  The viruses were there prior to ththe spill and I have tried a different keyboard.

I have done a low level format and booted my PC from a bootdisk I downloaded from PCtech and used fdisk to create the partition and then formatted with format.com.  Do you think I could still have a virus after that.
