Hi

I have an onboard sound card (ES1869 from ess technologies) which works fine unders Windows ME but not under XP. I get the message that " the firmware of the device did not give the required resources". I have tried the ESS site and they say that the drivers for the card are built into XP and they will not release new ones.

Any suggestions as to where I go next.

Thanks
Rod Moss
