Pentium tyan 400 motherboard. Upon shutting down windows 98 I get this
very long beep(high pitched) coming from the pc speaker for about a few
seconds then it stops. Anyone on this list know what causes this and a
cure?

I also note that one of the lights (num lock) on the keyboard stays on
after power down. Have to unplug power supply to get the light
out. Related ?
