DVI is typically a computer monitor only connection type. HDMI is the TV
equivalent, complete with audio over the same cable. You can either use a
DVI to HDMI converter plug to change the cable type, or use the standard VGA
out if the TV and video card have matching connectors. In either case, be
sure to set the resolution over that connection to the maximum specified by
the TV's manual for best appearance. Also, most TV's will need you to set
the refresh rate at 60 Hz, no matter what resolution you use. The graphics
card should be able to dish out what the TV can handle in all but a few rare
instances.
