I am getting a DSL hookup soon.  It will be a DSL modem.  I have several
computers in my home and they are all networked together using
Microsoft's Tcp/Ip.  I was planning on using a Proxy Server over the
ethernet network for sharing Internet access.  What is the purpose of a
DSL/Router and what would a DSL/Routers advantages/disadvantages be over
a DSL modem with a Proxy Server?
