Toshibas have a "Tapping" section/setting somewhere buried in the
advanced Mouse Settings.
Try turning that OFF.
I always do that FIRST when I use a Laptop for any length of time.

Let the list know if that helps.
I believe I've read other VERY invasive tricks to solve this,
but it requires damage to the unit. (And I've never done it.)
