Hi,

I have run into similar messages occasionally on machines, and after
running find new hardware, windows installed the advanced power control
interface and then it worked fine.

Also check the bios and look in advanced setting for something that deal
with power and try making some changes,
remembering what you started with so you can go back.

God Bless America!
