I have the same behavior with my Celeron 600MH, VIA Appolo Pro 133
chipset with 20GB HDD! Win 98 and WinMe have the bad loading due to
the ERRORS in Explorer. However with my old HDD (about 500MB) Win98 is
working stable. But using Win 2000 or WinXP I obtain the stable
working system, independently how many OS installed on HDD!
Note that Control Panel behavior depends on Explorer.
