  The company has rigged the computer to not work outside their facilities, 
to make it hard/pointless to steal.  If they're legitimately giving you the 
machine, they should have no issue with un-rigging it for you.

  If, for some reason, they can't or won't do that, your remaining option 
may be to flash the new BIOS into a replacement chip (using some other 
system or equipment), and then physically replace the chip in the machine 
with this new one.
