I'm interested in hearing about this too. I've got eight Iomega Zip disks
that I bought several years ago when the drives first came out. All are
still working with no problems. I got a few used Fuji Zip disks from
someone and one of them had write errors the first time I tried to use it.
I ran it through "Trouble In Paradise" - the Zip disk diagnostic - and that
seemed to clean it up OK, but I still get about ten times more recovered
errors on this disk than I do on Iomega ones when running them through the
test.
