Hello all,
I would like to upgrade the CPU on this computer but am at a loss as to what is feasible.

System
AMD K6-2 333
EFA Viking 3 mobo P5MVP3-AT (Socket 7) rev B
128 mb RAM
WIN 95B
AGP Matrox G100 video card

Currently, I am operating at a core voltage of 2.2V, bus speed of 95MhZ, and a clock multiplier of 3.5. I would like to upgrade to a K6-2 500.

Although AMD doesn't list this board with a 500, the board is capable of a multiplier of 5 and 100Mhz. Core voltage remains the same.

Anyone know why this wouldn't work? Do I have to worry about the video card speed?

Thanks for your assistance.
