If you are up to opening the case, you can check to make sure that the cable
ends from and to the Floppy Drive are firmly connected and that the power
line is also firmly connected to the drive.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Reformatting nightmare!

I was reformatting an old computer and when I tried to reboot using the boot
disk (Win 95) and the computer didn't recognize the floppy drive. I went
into the BIOS and it said there wasn't an "A Drive" So I changed it to read
the A drive to be 1.44 and saved and reboot again. This time the computer
said floppy drive fail. What am I doing wrong? is the floppy fried?

Thanks for your help!
