I am sending this message to you now, using Linux.. It is very stable. I
use the commercial release from Caldera.
If you want more info. check thier site at http://www.caldera.com They
have a deal right now that will allow
you to purchase Partition Magic with a $25.00 rebate, as well as an
additional $20.00 rebate for Caldera
Open Linux Base. Thier Tech support there is excellent, and would recommend
them for a first time install.
The new Partition Magic ver 3.0 comes with 2 different versions of programs
similar to System commander
that allow for Dual boot options, and they are included free.

There are free versions of Linux also available called Slackware, or other
Commercial releases such as RedHat, available at http://www.redhat.com

This version from Caldera comes with a full version of Netscape
Communicator, as well as an office suite called Star Office
that runs under Xwindows. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.
