Hi,

Installed a Plustek OpticPro 4831P scanner on a Windows 95b system. This is
the line it loads ins SYSTEM.INI: device=C:\PROGRA~1\SCANNER\SCANDEV.386 if
this line is enabled (default), the computer system hangs on Shut down prior
to the shut-down screen. If it is disabled, the system shuts down nicely.

Has anyone come across this scenario and are there ways around it? The
Plustek site offers no help, and Microsoft Technet only says to REM the
line, but that leaves the scanner inoperable.
