I have a Cyber CD ROM 32 X and my mainboard is a TX Pro II (PC CHIPS)

with 32 MB SIM and 16 MB DIM. I have two HDs: one is a Quantun Fireball

6.4 GB and the other is a Quantun 540 MB. Also I have a floppy drive.

I don't know why but my CD ROM is not working anymore. During the boot

process, everything seems fine : the CDROM led is on, the computer

doesn't stop, no strange messages appears. But when I try to read

the CDROM (Eg: DIR F:*.* ) something like the following message appears:

" drive is not ready " .

This thing has started happenning recently, because some days ago

I could use my CDROM with no trouble.

What is wrong? My CDROM is broken?
