more scanner help needed

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced hooking up an HP Scanner 3c to a laptop with an
Adaptec 1460 scsi card?(win95 os).  I checked both HP's site and Adaptec's
site and can't seem to find info.

The scsi works and I can install jaz/and HD's on it.  When I hook up the
scanner, and scanner software, it can't find the scsi card.  Does this
scanner only work with its own card?
