I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 bought with WinMe installed but no CD; the machine has been partly paralyzed by a virus (only fully activated when I attempted to remove it with Panda Titantium AV, so that it now closes down while booting) and will probably have to have its HD formatted. Is it possible simply to reinstall Win ME from a disk, or does one need any other software (eg.a WIN ME CD recovery disk such as I have seen advertised which "will enable full installation of WIN ME from a Windows environment"? Any advice would greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Ron Smith
