A friend has asked me to install a super floppy (LS120), in his computer.
He purchased an OEM model that came without any documentation or setup disk.

I assumed that I should just replace the existing floppy drive with the new
drive, and it would be recogonized at boot up, but it wasn't.

Upon rechecking the ribbon cable connection to the new drive, I noticed
that the only way the notch would fit, the red strip ended up next to pin
34 rather than pin No.1. . . I did not want to reseat the cable and force
it to what I feel is the proper position so have terminated this
installation and am now submitting to the list for suggestions.

I have checked the Imation site, but could find no definitive answers,
however it does mention some IDE drivers. . . should I download these and
use them somehow in the installatin?
