I don't want to repeat what's on tomshareware, but I do agree with it. Here I
give the short message on tom's word: either i815 perform good or bad, Intel is
on loss-loss situation. If it performs good (means better then i820/i840), Intel
won't be able to sell its more expensive i820/840 solution and Intel will
self-kill the RDRAM crap. If it performs bad, nobody will want it.
For myself, I will wait and see, if it rocks (then it will be the best solution
if AMD couldn't catch up), I will build a system based on it (of 'cos I will
disable the onboard stuff), if not, forget it.
