This isn't true. You can mix them, but RAM defaults to the lowest common
denominator. Suppose you have a DIMM of PC100 Class 3 in one slot, and two
Dimms of PC133 Class2 ECC in two other slots . All the RAM will run as
Class 3 NON ECC and you will not be able to run above a 100 FSB.
I have done exactly this with no problems whatsoever.
