I just used the recovery disk on a Compaq Presario, Win ME. It was infected
with the Sir Cam virus.
All went as expected, except that the modem installs as "PCI Card" and I
cannot get it to work.
I have tried "Add new hardware" to no avail. and I removed and replaced the
modem (Which is the only PCI card in the system).
The modem shows up in the BIOS as 16750 modem on IRQ 11.
Any ideas on how to get this modem working?
