Hello,
I have a Pentum IV PC running WINDOWS XP home edition with the following characteristics"
       - Mobo SNC302EEH
       - CPU AMD Athlon XP
       - Clock 1.73 GHz
       - RAM 256 Kb
The computer runs normally, but for the last couple of weeks I am not able to run DEFRAG nor look at the device manager (not sure what else I cannot do).
When I try to defrag the HD or look at the Device Manager, I get a blank window with black backgrand; something written on top that I cannot read because the window disappear quickly (after so many tries I was able to read part of what appears on top of the window). I am confident that is "System32". Same happens in safe mode..
I have no idea what is causing this problem. Can anyone in this fine group have any idea? Or perhaps suggest where can I look? I would deeply appreciate any help
  Thank you.
