I run defrag frequently, and recommend it to all my friends and customers-I
have never seen a problem. You might want to review the MS help file and the
Windows resource Kit on this subject for a few caveats. Defrag will
definitely improve system performance and it's regular use is highly
recommended by  most authorities.
