I have a PC ARK (model P90, made by Twinhead) laptop that has gone dead. It is about 3 years old, a Pll 300. I let it sit for several months and now the battery will not charge - it has 3 lights on the front that all would light up when it was charged; now only one light will come on. The battery was getting where it would not hold a charge long before this happened. It will not work with only the adaptor plugged in - I assume because the battery is gone. If I pull out the battery, the one light will not even come on - I don't believe it would ever work w/o the battery in on the adaptor. Is there any way to confirm that it is indeed a bad battery? A replacement goes for $170 from Twinhead, so I don't want to pay this
for something I don't need.
Thanks much,
Edna
