I'm still trying to boot from the C drive on the Packard Bell 386 Legend. I
tried copying the Autoexec.bat & Config.sys to C drive. This didn't work.
The operating system is Dos 6.2 with Stacker and QEMM running. When I got
it running I formatted a disk with the operating system and copied the
autoexec.bat & config.sys on to the disk. When I boot from the floppy I
sometimes get the original menu program and other times it goes into QEMM
(Quarter Deck) which allows me to pick which configuration you want. Also
when I do a SYS C: I get a message: "No room for systenm on destination
disk. Yet there is 9.8M left on C drive. Could it be Stacker?

I would also like to know how to put this computer into Turbo mode if any
one knows?
Any help would be appreciated.

Harvey Rose

Which is worse, to spend more than you expected or less than you should?
