Hello everyone. I have enjoyed the discussion about RAM in the PC. My
experience has been that you do get a noticeable difference when you upgrade
up to 128MB. After that, I haven't seen large improvements unless I am
running programs that require the extra memory. For example, AutoCaD, Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Ray Dream Studio all love the extra memory
and use it to speed up operations. I also know that hard-core gaming fans
swear by the extra memory for the more complex pieces of software.

I don't know if tests have been done to compare the differences that memory
makes between a MAC and a PC, but I imagine that it could be substantial.
