Homepage changes like that scream of one of two things: Group Policy and
bugs. Never hurts to change the CMOS battery, but focus on swatting whatever
infected you. This smacks of a sneaky trojan or rootkit. I'd also ditch
AO-hell once you get things working again unless you absolutely have to use
it. Nice that it works, but it could have been left open as a conduit. That
and I have never trusted AO-hell software to run stable and not bog down a
machine.
