I purchased one for someone at work about 4 months ago. It seems to work
very well, I've had no complaints. I hooked it up using usb and it prints
relatively fast. I had to change the toner cartridge a few weeks ago for
the first time and the page count was around 4300.

It's certainly an improved design over the Laserjet 5L, 6L, 1100 series for
which I've had numerous complaints about paper feed and other problems in
printing.
