HI, it would have been helpful if you had given the model no. of your system.

nevertheless...

(1)are you sure that your system is compatible with "DIMM SDRAMPC100"

(2)have you installed BOTH the old 64 mb and the new 128 mb sticks? if "yes" i would suggest you install ONLY the 128 mb stick and see if the system boots.

if it does not and you are sure about item (1) above then the only possibility is that the new stick is defective.

there is a software called "memtest" available at the following URL and perhaps you would want to download and test the memory stick.
