I have a "home made" computer, with Asus P5A ( Super Socket 7, 100MHz
mainboard) with AMD K6-2 300MGz CPU, 96Mb ram, ATI rage II AGP 8 Mb video
card, and the standard components.
Since early on , from time to time, the computer (I think the motherboard)
kind of whistles. Sometimes long ones, at other times short. There was a
period of a month or two, without noise.
Yesterday it started again, almost non stop.
I suspected that it might have to do with the CPU temperature, but it seems
to whistle when its cold or hot.

Does anybody have any idea what could it be? Any help will be appreciated.

Thank, Reuven Freuman
