Hi,

I believe you will find some patches for this problem on Microsoft web
site.  It is a know problem for some boards.

Do a knowledge database search for windows 98 shutdown problems.

Hi list,
How can I fix the shutdown error of Win98?I can't have it shutdown.When
I click the shutdown button it goes to "Windows is shutting now" and
suspends here. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Regards,
