You can test the memory in another machine, if you get unexpected and 
random reboots with it in, throw it away. It won't harm the other 
computer to test memory in it.

You  should be able to test the hard drive the same way, just put it in 
another machine as a slave drive and see if you can read from it and 
write to it.

Not sure how to test the motherboard... maybe some other responder will 
have an idea.
