I'm having trouble getting Windows 2000 to read cds. I have both a
cd-rom and a cd-rw on ide. They are both correctly identified in bios
and on the control panel. Either of them will respond to the eject
command from Windows Explorer but I have to reboot to get them to see
the cd. If I open the tray and insert a new cd, when I select the icon
in Explorer I get a message to insert a cd.

Can someone offer a suggestion?
Thanks
Ray
