Hi all-

I'm scouting for a friend who is into music creation (midi).
He wants ideas on a decent motherboard & sound card.
I'd like to set him up with something that won't break the bank
& yet will do what he wants.

Is anyone here into this sort of thing & can give some recommendations?

Links to reviews or other info would be appreciated also.
