How do I deploy the XP sp1 cd during the installation of XP Pro on a new
hard disc?

I was able to get the installation of XP Pro up to the point of it asking
file 'asms' on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 CD is needed.  Type
the path where the file is located, and then click OK.  Copy files from:

I've got the sp cd (that I bought from M$) in the cd rom drive (E:).  I've
told it so, I've clicked OK.  Nothing happens.

I've read many help articles on this, but I don't understand how to make
this work.  I found this:
