When one of my machines boots it shows a message like "DMI Pool
Verifying..."

Could someone tell me what exactly IS 'DMI' is it the Desktop Management
Interface ? If it is, then what is the 'DMI Pool' because the .MIF files
which are there for the DMI compliant devices are ONLY there for the OP
Sytem AFTER the bootstrap...
