every time i turn on my pc from cold and try to connect to the internet my
pc stalls and freezes up.i either have to wait or ctrl alt del to get out of
it.once i have gone through this procedure it will connect up first time
every time i try .if i switch off my system the pattern starts all over
again.when it is going through the isp log on it seems be unusually slow
stepping through the different messages then stalls.this has me totally
baffled i have reinstalled windows and isp more than once but still the same
problem.
system spec:
amd 1ghz
ficaz11e mainboard
seagate 20gb ata100 h/drive
geforce 2 mx
conexant hsf modem (dm-56v14hsf)
could this be the modem ??
