I have the same board, and most likely it is just the connections to the
ports on the board. the front and back connections are in different
places, and if I'm not mistaken, the manual is not horribly clear on
which wires go to which terminals. Mine work fine front and back, but
another machine I built with that same board, I accidentally reversed
the order, hence... they didn't work.

Study the schematic again and re-wire as needed. I really think that
Elite Group (ICS) really designed a great board for the price, however,
the manual doesn't seem as clear as it could be.
