>  ps/2 is a ps/2 not according to the bios.

         I had a problem with a mother board where I had to check the pin
outs on the board I had to change the ps2 connector to match the mother
board  pin out. Some mother boards are proprietary in there ps2,serial,and
usb pin outs you  should check the manual and go from there.
