Thanks for the suggestion. It turns out router is very easy to use. I
should have rebooted the PC when I connect them the first time. I tried it
again last night, everything that I had problem with before the router were
solved just by using router instead of hub. My machine can see each other
very well, and I can log on to internet without any installer. I have not
gone thru the web setting thing yet.

I'm happy with my router.
