On all the Compaq systems I have here at work, you wait until the curser moves to
the upper RIGHT corner of the screen during POST and press F10.

Another option that sometimes works with ANY BIOS is to hold down a key on the
keyboard when you turn on the power.  This usually produces an error message with
something like - F1 Continue/Boot  F10 Setup.
