I just run purely separate win and kubuntu systems now using samba in the
network  Though, when I was running dual win 7 and kubuntu never had a
dropping under Linux.  What's your WiFi model? Mind you, I stopped using
Ubuntu for clients unless they specifically asked for it.  It sounds on
first impressions that something doesn't like the other. Have you checked
the Ubuntu forums?
